Back again

Wow, just a shade over two months between posts. That's one way to build readership, eh?

Hopefully this post will signal a return, or rather start, to some normalcy in the way of posts. What can I say? Life gets busy.

I'm getting more and more excited by the minute for the name change...finally. I think I can go the rest of my life without reading the words "*Effective Aug. 28, 2005" ever again. Thankfully they didn't have to put those words on the turf at Plaster Sports Complex, where the end zones now read "Missouri State" in maroon and white. It looks great and effectively covers up the "SMS BEARS" forever hidden underneath.





I think it looks sharp...with one small gripe. I know the paint is expensive, but how much more would it have cost to completely coat the end zones in maroon? You, of course, can gripe about the quality of the pictures. My bad. The place was locked down with no good way to get upstairs and take a picture from a better vantage point. You get the idea, though.

Coming soon (*fingers crossed*) pictures from Midnight Madness. Hopefully before October.
